Blue Project in West Campus
In order to promote the growth of young teachers and build a professional teachers’ team with excellent quality, on the afternoon of March 1st, Anqing Foreign Language School held the ‘Blue Project’ mentor-apprentice pairing conference in the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year in the conference room on the second floor of the administrative building.
Specifically, the conference was chaired by Director Zhang Li of the Teaching Department who emphasized that the ‘Blue Project’ is a long-term education and teaching tradition that Anqing Foreign Language School has adhered to, which provides good conditions for young teachers to accelerate their professional growth and also builds a platform for the teachers to learn from each other. This semester's master and apprentice pairing work requires pragmatic, solid implementation of the ‘Blue Project’ work. Meanwhile, Director Zhang Li put forward higher and more specific requirements for teachers, requesting the advisers to assign homework to young teachers, help them to familiarize themselves with the types of questions in the Senior High School Entrance Examination and the Unified Examination, and guide them to clarify the examination points; On the other hand, young teachers are required to listen to more lectures, do more practice, think more, improve more, make clear the class type and difficult points of each class, and insist on writing detailed lesson plans. Finally, Director Zhang Li also hoped that all young teachers would cherish the opportunity to learn and grow up as soon as possible under the guidance of the instructors.
In summary, it is believed that the teachers involved in the ‘Blue Project’ can forge ahead together, influence each other, grow together, and add glory to the education and teaching work of Anqing Foreign Language School.
